We are delighted to invite you to the second Crosculpture conference aptly named "Sculpture on the Crossroads Between Socio-political Pragmatism, Economic Possibilities and Aesthetical Contemplation" which will be held on October 4-5, 2018 in the Meštrović Gallery in Split. Feel free to joinus at this beautiful gallery and listen to some intriguing presentations from speakers arriving from all over Europe. The plenary talk will be given by Ms Holly Trusted of the Victoria and Albert Museumin London on the topic of "Modern Sculpture: The Quiet Transformation of British Sculpturein the 1920s".

Book Promotion
It is our pleasure to also invite you to the promotion of the newest publication by the Ivan Meštrović Museums and the Croatian-Czech Society - a book entitled Ivan Meštrović and the Czechs: Examples of Croatian‐Czech Cultural and Political Reciprocity (Croatian: Ivan Meštrović i Česi: primjeri hrvatsko-češke kulturne i političke uzajamnosti).
We are extremely proud that the texts of the leader of our project team, assistant professor Dalibor Prančević, Ph.D. and those of our project team member, Barbara Vujanović, Senior Curator of Atelier Meštrović, are now published in this book as the result of their research on the Crosculpture project (Manifestations of Modern Sculpture in Croatia:Sculpture on the Crossroads Between Socio-political Pragmatism, Economic Possibilities and Aesthetical Contemplation, IP-2016-06-2112), funded by the Croatian Science Foundation.
